Graduating student users are automatically qualified for extended Alumni network access when they leave Concordia.
    About Alumni Access
Graduating student users are automatically qualified for extended Alumni network access when they leave Concordia. The extended access, defined below, is maintained as long as the account is active.
Alumni accounts are retained for up to one (1) year after our last indication of account activity. After that point, they are purged from our systems. All data associated with the account will be permanently lost at that time. Accounts may be reactivated if an alumni user returns as an active student or employee in the future; however, no data recovery will be possible.

A user is considered Alumni after one full Fall or Spring semester where that user has not been registered for classes and has received a degree from Concordia University - Portland. Upon being added to the Alumni classification, all user space (H: drive) contents will be removed, therefore it is important that you remove any important content before you leave.
    Extended Access
This extended network access does include:
    Access to computer labs
    ...
    Network storage space
Access to some library subscription services
Important: At the start of each semester each Alumni account is evaluated for activity. Alumni accounts that show no activity for one (1) year will be purged completely from the system. Graduates of Concordia University may request Alumni network access after being purged from the system by providing a record of their graduation to Information Services.Microsoft Office Products

    Nursing Education Center
On April 12th, 2017 Concordia University unveiled a new Nursing Skills Center at Center at 9600 SW Barnes Road in Portland, Ore. adjacent to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
The new facility is specifically designed to support Concordia University’s new accelerated bachelor of science in nursing (ABSN) program, which expands the university’s decade-long track record of graduating caring and competent nurses with a heart for service.
The new 11,980 sq. ft. facility includes large lab spaces, two simulation rooms, with high-tech medical mannequins that simulate real patient conditions, an observation room, student collaboration space, faculty offices and conference rooms. It will house students enrolled in the ABSN program, a 16-month option for students who qualify.
