About

This group of articles will provide the basic information on the Wireless Networks that Concordia University offers and the steps to access these Wireless Access Points. The Concordia University wireless network supports the 802.11g and 802.11n protocols on the 2.4Ghz Band and the 802.11a and 802.11n protocols on the 5Ghz band. There is no support for 802.11b which may affect some older devices.

It is STRONGLY recommended that you utilize the 5Ghz Band whenever possible as the nature of the technology allows for far greater speeds and less interference on that band. 802.11n 5Ghz is your best option.
