About Virtual Desktop

Concordia ITS now offers remote connection to a virtual windows environment for Students of Concordia University. This is commonly referred to as VDI or Virtual Desktop Interface. There are many benefits to using this, some benefits include:
  • Access Network Drives
  • Eliminates the need for VPN

IMPORTANT: You must save your files to your H Drive if you want them kept. Given the nature of a VDI, all files changed and made while logged in, will be deleted once you log out.


Supported Use

Concordia ITS currently supports connection to VDI from a host of different devices. As a student, employee, or contractor you should already have access to the view most appropriate to your status at the University.
