Taskstream AMS

Concordia Portland uses Taskstream AMS for assessment planning, results, budget requests and departmental changes

The information in this article applies to use for program/university assessment. If you are a student or instructor looking for information on using Taskstream with your Blackboard course, please refer to the information below.

Getting to Taskstream AMS

  • Log into Concordia Blackboard at: https://login.concordiaonline.org/
    • If you are not sure if you have a Blackboard account, navigate to https://login.concordiaonline.org/and try your Concordia email username and password.
    • If you do not have a Blackboard account, contact ire@cu-portland.eduwith your first and last name, G# and email address.
  • Scroll to the bottom right – select “Launch TaskStream AMS Login”
    • If you are also a Taskstream LAT user, and if you see a screen asking you if you would like to log into the Taskstream AMS or the Taskstream LAT – select Taskstream AMS
    • If you are also a Taskstream LAT user, and if you are already logged into Taskstream LAT, select the toggle at the top right corner of Taskstream LAT to switch to Taskstream AMS

Viewing/editing your departmental outcomes and links to strategic goals

  • Select the department which you wish to investigate
  • From the left-hand menu, select “Outcomes”
    • Here, you can view:
      • Your outcome titles
      • Your outcome statements
      • Your links between each of your outcomes and your selected Strategic Goal(s)
    • To edit any of these, if you have permission from your Dean/VP to do so, select “Check out” and begin your edits

Viewing/editing your benchmarks for your outcomes

  • Select the department which you wish to investigate
  • From the left-hand menu, select “benchmarks”
  • Expand the Outcomes/Measures menu by clicking on the right-facing triangle next to “Outcomes/Measures”
    • Here you can view:
      • Each measure within each outcome
    • To edit any of these, if you have permission from your Dean/VP to do so, select “Check out” and begin your edits

Viewing/editing your findings/assessment results

  • Select the department which you wish to investigate
  • From the left-hand menu, select “findings”
  • Expand the Findings per Measure menu by clicking on the right-facing triangle next to “Findings per Measure”
    • Here you can view:
      • Findings per each measure of each outcome
    • To edit any of these, if you have permission from your Dean/VP to do so, select “Check out” and begin your edits

Viewing/editing your base-plus budget requests

  • IF THIS IS THE FIRST TIME YOU ARE ENTERING THE BASE-PLUS BUDGET REQUEST AREA:
    • You will need to set up your plan for budget requests
      • if you have permission from your Dean/VP to do so, select “Check out” and begin your edits
        • Select Create New Operational Plan
        • Click the “Select Outcomes” button
        • Click “select existing set”
        • Click the radio button next to your outcome set; then click Continue
        • Select the outcome(s) which relate to this budget request; then click “accept and Return to Plan”
    • Expand the Actions menu by clicking on the right-facing triangle next to “Actions”
      • Here you can view:
        • Each budget Request/Action
        • To edit any of these, if you have permission from your Dean/VP to do so, select “Check out” and begin your edits
  • IF THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME YOU ARE ENTERING THE BASE-PLUS BUDGET REQUEST AREA:
  • Select the department which you wish to investigate
  • From the left-hand menu, select “Budget Requests”
  • Expand the Actions menu by clicking on the right-facing triangle next to “Actions”
    • Here you can view:
      • Each budget Request/Action
    • To edit any of these, if you have permission from your Dean/VP to do so, select “Check out” and begin your edits

Viewing/editing the progress of your budget request(s)
