Switching Languages in Windows 7

If you ever find yourself in the position of needing to type in a language other than English, configuring your keyboard for new languages is simple and easy in Windows 7.

1. Open the Control Panel and choose the Clock, Languages and Keyboard option

2. Select "Change keyboard or other input methods”

3. Click “Change keyboards” and the “Add”

4. Scroll to the language you want to add, then expand the menu and check the open boxes under keyboard.

5. Once that has done. Your new language will have been added to the list. Click “OK”

6. A language icon will now appear in the taskbar. Click on it to expand and select the language you want to type in.

7. Click “A” to expand input options and type away!
