Follow the steps below to learn how to grade a submitted assignment using Blackboard

1. Grading submitted assignments in Blackboard is simple. To start, click on Grade Center, then Full Grade Center.

2.Scroll over to view the column for the assignment you wish to grade.

3.Wherever students have submitted an assignment that still needs to be graded, you'll see a green exclamation point.

4.Next to the exclamation point, click on the down arrow icon to open the drop-down menu.

5.The new assignment submission that needs to be graded will appear in this menu as an "attempt" followed by the date it was submitted.

6.Click on "Attempt" to view the students' submitted assignment.

7.Their assignment should appear as an attached file. Click on the file to open or download it.

8.Once you have reviewed the assignment and decided on a grade, look for the section Grade Current Attempt. Enter the score and leave feedback if necessary.

9.Click "Save and Next" to save the current assignment and grade the next assignment available. Alternatively, "Save and Exit" or "Save as Draft".

10.Either way, when you're done, the next time you look at the grade center, your saved grades will appear.
