Concordia-Portland’s IT team is comprised of four specialized sections to best serve the mission of the university; Application & Technology Solutions, Network Operations, System Operations, and Service Operations. Additionally, the IT Department oversees a Print Services operation.


Applications & Technology Solutions (ATS)
The Application and Technology Solutions department focuses on the support, security, and management of the university's Administrative and Student Information systems and databases. They are dedicated to overseeing the development and use of impactful staff support application solutions. The ATS team includes business and data analysts and technology project managers, and is the starting points for technology needs assessment.

Network Operations
The Network Operations team is responsible for the management and oversight of the university's network infrastructure for local and remote operations. This department manages the Concordia University data centers, as well as specializes in upholding university operational security for both the Portland and Boise campuses.

System Operations
The Concordia University System Operations team is tasked with managing and maintaining of the University's servers, hosted IT applications, and user access. The System Operation team monitors the successful functionality of the Portland and Boise campuses servers and cloud providers seven days a week.

Service Operations
The Technology Service Center provides both tier 1 and tier 2 end user technology support services, and classroom technology support & management. The Technology Service Center also offers limited proactive support and innovative training services to our technology stakeholders. This department oversees all technology provisioning including end user computing devices such as laptops, desktops, and printers to enhance our university’s effectiveness and efficiency. This office also provides tier 2 and advanced technology support services for campus systems.

The Technology Service Center is located in Hagen 115 on the main Portland campus, and is open Monday-Friday from 7am-8:30pm PST, Saturdays from 8-2:30 PST, and on Sundays from 12pm-8:30pm PST.


Concordia University Print Center
The Concordia Print Center is available to all students, faculty and staff offering specialty printing orders. Orders may be placed at duplicating@cu-portland.edu.
